What's your Big Question?
I find that many clients come to me because they have a big question on their mind. They may not even know what their question is, but they have a nagging feeling that there is one.
There are common themes for these big questions that come up again and again for professional people in general, and in professions like law, HR and medicine in particular:
Is it going to carry on being as stressful as this for the rest of my career?
Could this level of pressure eventually make me ill?
How can I make myself stop work in the evenings?
How can I spend enough time with my family?
Do I move firm?
Do I set up on my own?
Is this career what I really, honestly want any more?
Do any of these resonate with you? What’s your big question at the moment?
With coaching still not being as popular and well-used as I’d like, most people suffer by not spending quality time pausing and properly exploring their big questions. They are more likely to slog on for years in a career or working environment they don’t like, or which may actually harming them, with pessimistic feelings of “better the devil you know!” and “how would I earn money otherwise?”
Yet a few sessions with a good coach would be enough to help them review things, become clear about what they want, and gather the courage to make whatever big (or moderate) changes they need to become someone who wakes up every morning excited about the working day ahead.
Isn’t that worth the investment of £600 or so?
If you have a big question – whether or not you’re yet clear exactly what it is – why not bring it to a free sample coaching session with me, and see where it takes us? I’d love to hear from you.
